Be Part of this Ultimate NFL Flag Football League Experience!!!!
Our Youth NFL Flag Football League is open to all youth ages 8-17 years old. We will be offering three different age divisions: Ages (8-10), (11-13) and (14-17).
The league runs: May 27 - August 2
Practices start the week of May 26
Junior Division (ages 8-10): Practices will be held on Tuesday Nights
Senior Division (ages 11-13): Practices will be held on Thursday Nights
High School Division (ages 14-17): Practices will be held on Thursday Nights
Merrillville Park District is partnering with Ross Township Park District and D’Up Sports Management Group. This will allow participants a vast array of competition and fun.
All participants will be provided with an Official NFL Flag Football Jersey (specific team TBA), matching team shorts and a flag belt.
Practices will be held during the week, located at Hidden Lake. Games will be played on Saturdays, located at the Dean and Barbara White Community Center.
Practices times are 5:30-6:30pm or 6:30-7:30pm. Game starting times will vary between 8:30am to 4:30pm.
All age divisions will play a seven-week regular season, with a season ending tournament. Awards will be given to the tournament champions and tournament runners-up.
At the Merrillville Park District, all of our youth sports coaches are volunteers. If you would like to make a positive impact in a young person’s life, please consider volunteering. If interested in volunteering, please email Chris Geiger, Recreation Coordinator at cgeiger@merrillville.in.gov
